North Korea, Russia Hold Consultations On Enhancing Cooperation - Ambassador To Moscow

North Korea and Russia are holding consultations on strengthening bilateral political and economic cooperation, North Korean Ambassador to Russia Kim Hyun Joong said on Monday at the meeting with chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Russian upper house, Konstantin Kosachev
The ambassador recalled that last year, Moscow and Pyongyang celebrated the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries, while this year, the two countries will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the conclusion of the first intergovernmental agreement on economic and cultural cooperation.
"And on the occasion of the significant date of the 70th anniversary of the signing of the first intergovernmental agreement between the ministries of foreign affairs of the two countries there is a consultation on the expansion and strengthening of relations between our two countries in the economic, political, military and other fields," Kim said.
The ambassador noted that in 2018, the relations between the two countries developed dynamically, adding that this year the positive development is ongoing.
