North Korean Delegation Departs For Asian Political Parties Assembly - Russian Embassy

A North Korean parliamentary delegation has left Pyongyang for Moscow to attend the General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) that will begin later in the week, the Russian Embassy in Pyongyang said on Monday.
VLADIVOSTOK (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd October, 2018) A North Korean parliamentary delegation has left Pyongyang for Moscow to attend the General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) that will begin later in the week, the Russian Embassy in Pyongyang said on Monday.
"On October 22, [Russian Ambassador in North Korea] Alexander Matsegora escorted the delegation of the Workers' Party of Korea to the Pyongyang Sunan International Airport. The delegation, headed by the party's international department deputy chair, Ryu Myong Son, has left for Moscow to participate in the 10th jubilee General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties that will be held in our capital on October 24-27, 2018," the embassy wrote on Facebook.
The ICAPP assembly gathers lawmakers from Asia and Oceania to foster mutual understanding and boost regional cooperation. The ICAPP currently consists of 350 political parties from 50 countries.
