The North Korean Embassy in Russia has no information regarding the visit of a senior aide to the country's leader, Kim Jong Un, to Moscow, a counselor at the embassy told Sputnik on Thursday
The Yonhap news agency reported earlier on Thursday that Kim Chang Son, the deputy head of the North Korean State Council and de facto chief of staff for the North Korean leader, had come to Moscow to discuss Kim's potential visit to the Russian capital.
"It is the first time I am hearing of it, I am not aware of it. I do not know anything about it," the counselor said.
Earlier in the day, the Kremlin refused to comment on the reported visit.
