North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un Promises To Pay First Visit To Seoul In Near Future

SEOUL (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th September, 2018) North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un promised in his speech after the inter-Korean summit in Pyongyang on Wednesday to visit Seoul in the near future.
Kim's speech was broadcast in the Seoul press center of the inter-Korean summit, where all the information from Pyongyang comes.
If this happens, it will be the first ever such visit of the North Korean leader.
The agreement on the visit is formalized in a joint statement on the results of the talks of the summit that ended on Wednesday.
"Chairman of the State Council Kim Jong Un agreed to visit Seoul at the invitation of President Moon Jae-in in the near future," the document says.
