Novak, Zanganeh Discuss Russia-Iran Energy Cooperation

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak on Monday discussed with Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh Russia-Iran cooperation in the energy sector, as well as possibility of further regulations in oil production under the OPEC-non-OPEC deal, the Russian Energy Ministry said.
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 15th October, 2018) Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak on Monday discussed with Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh Russia-Iran cooperation in the energy sector, as well as possibility of further regulations in oil production under the OPEC-non-OPEC deal, the Russian Energy Ministry said.
"The ministers discussed bilateral cooperation between Russia and Iran in the energy sector, the situation on the world oil markets, as well as the possibility of further regulations in oil production under the OPEC-non-OPEC agreement," the ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, Novak stressed that constant contacts between Russia and Iran contribute to strengthening cooperation between the two countries across the whole range of trade and economic relations, including in the energy sector.
