OIC Secretary General Deplores Afghan New Year Violence

Afghan new year celebrations were once again interrupted by renewed violence and bloodshed in the capital Kabul
Jeddah (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd March, 2019) Afghan new year celebrations were once again interrupted by renewed violence and bloodshed in the capital Kabul. The Afghan Ministry of Public Health confirmed that at least six people were killed and 23 others were wounded in the multiple explosions in Kabul city on 21 March 2019.
While condemning the heinous terror attacks in the strongest terms, OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen appealed to all Afghans to bring inclusive and lasting peace through political settlement and reconciliation.
Al-Othaimeen extended his heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Afghanistan and prayed for the speedy recovery to the survivors of violent terrorism. He reiterated OIC’s condemnation of all forms and manifestations of terrorism.
