Mr. John Abizeid, the newly appointed Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and members of his delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides had useful and extensive exchange of views on various regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Ambassador Abizeid expressed his desire to deepen relations with the OIC General Secretariat. Welcoming the Ambassador, the Secretary General emphasized on maintaining regular contacts to further strengthen OIC-US bilateral relations and reiterated OIC’s interest to remain engaged with the United States for shared benefit.
