MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 06th February, 2019) The launch of the first six UK OneWeb satellites from Kourou spaceport with Soyuz rocket is tentatively scheduled for February 22, the CEO of launch service provider Arianespace, Stephane Israel, said Wednesday.
The launch was initially scheduled for February 19, but was pushed back due to some issues with Fregat upper stage.
Sources told Sputnik that there was a seam rupture in a pipeline that supplies helium to fuel tanks of the Fregat booster. According to a source, it has been welded since then.
