Orbiter spots missing comet lander Philae: space agency

PARIS, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -5th Sep,2016) : Cameras onboard Europe's comet orbiter Rosetta has spotted the tiny lander Philae for the first time since its crash-landing in November 2014, the European Space Agency said on Monday.

"Less than a month before the end of the mission, Rosetta's high-resolution camera has revealed the Philae lander wedged into a dark crack on comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko," it said in a statement.
