Over 36m Passengers Use Iranian Airports In 6 Months

Some 36.284 million passengers were transferred by airports belonging to Iran Airports Company over the past nine months, IRNA reported on Monday

TEHRAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jan, 2019 ) :Some 36.284 million passengers were transferred by airports belonging to Iran Airports Company over the past nine months, IRNA reported on Monday.

According to a report published on Sunday by the Company's information center, the airports belonging to Iran Airports Company had made more than 300,000 take-offs and landings over the nine-month period, transferring the above-mentioned number of passengers and carrying over 365,000 tons of cargos and postal parcels.

Tehran's Mehrabad International Airport registered 95,153 take-offs and landings in the mentioned period transferring over 11 million passengers to be the country's most crowded airport, the report said.
