Over 60% Of Ukrainians Think Country On Wrong Track - Poll

Sixty-two percent of Ukrainian citizens believe that their country has not been developing in the right direction, a poll carried out by the Ukrainian Institute of Analysis and Forecasting showed on Friday
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 11th January, 2019) Sixty-two percent of Ukrainian citizens believe that their country has not been developing in the right direction, a poll carried out by the Ukrainian Institute of Analysis and Forecasting showed on Friday.
According to the survey, only 28 percent of respondents believed that Ukraine was currently on the right track and another 10 percent could not give a definite answer.
The poll was conducted among 2,016 respondents across Ukraine between December 26 and January 4.
The margin of error does not exceed 2.2 percent.
Earlier in the day, Viktor Medvedchuk, the leader of the Ukrainian Choice - Right of People public movement, noted on its website that the minimum subsistence level as well as pensions more than halved in the Ukraine in five years.
According to the World Bank's most recent forecast, the GDP growth rate in Ukraine will fall to 2.9 percent compared to the predictions that the organization made in October.
