RAMALLAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Dec, 2018 ) :The Arab League will hold an extraordinary meeting, at the level of permanent representatives, at the request of Palestine to discuss "Israeli escalation" against the Palestinian people.
Palestinian Foreign Minister, Riyadh al-Maliki, said in a statement on Sunday that Palestine called for an Arab League urgent meeting, at the level of permanent representatives, to discuss the grave Israeli escalation against the Palestinian leadership and people. The league approved to set the meeting next Tuesday.
The state of Palestine will introduce a draft resolution to the Arab League, which includes several proposals and recommendations, regarding the current dangerous Israeli escalation, the anticipated Brazilian president's decision over the recognition of Jerusalem asthe Israeli capital, and the recent Australian stance, the minister explained.
Al-Maliki stressed that Palestine is certain of the Arab League's support of the draft resolution; and that is will come up with work plan to address the dangers at hand.
