Israel is deploying additional troops to the West Bank and blocked Palestinian de-facto capital of Ramallah, after a Palestinian opened fire at a bus stop, killing two Israeli servicemen and injuring some others near Givat Asaf crossing north of Jerusalem.

"A Palestinian ... from the Jalazone refugee camp in Ramallah died from severe wounds he received in clashes with the Israeli military," the statement reads.

The Health Ministry noted that the he was 18 years old.

The shooting occurred not far from Israeli settlement Ofra, where Palestinian militants injured seven Israelis, having opened fire at them, last week.
