According to the Kenyan channel NTV, officers from the Kenyan police investigation department removed the explosive devices and detained three suspects.

On Tuesday, militants stormed the Dusit hotel complex in the Kenyan capital. National law enforcement has classified the assault as a terrorist attack. At least 21 people died as the result of the assault.

Islamist militant group Al Shabaab, which has pledged allegiance to the al-Qaeda terrorist group (outlawed in Russia), has claimed responsibility for the gun-and-bomb attack.
