Police Of Australia's Victoria State Confirm One Person Died In Prahran Shooting

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 14th April, 2019) The police of Australian southeastern state of Victoria confirmed on Sunday that one person had died after being shot outside of a nightclub in Prahran, a suburb southeast of Melbourne.
Earlier in the day, the police said that four people, all men, had been hospitalized after a shooting occurred outside of a nightclub at about 3:20 a.m. local time (17:20 GMT on Saturday). The incident reportedly took place in front of the love Machine club.
"A 37-year-old man from Narre Warren South suffered life-threatening injuries during the incident however has since died in hospital .
.. A 28-year-old man remains in a critical condition. A 50-year-old man and a 29-year-old man have both sustained non-life threatening injuries," the police said in a statement.
The authorities are investigating whether a black Porsche SUV, which was seen leaving the area, is related to the shooting incident, the police added.
"The Porsche was later found burnt out in Wollert [Melbourne's suburb, some 18 miles from the scene of the incident]," the statement read.
According to media reports, the shooting could have been carried out from this car, which was presumably stolen.
