US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo is planing to visit eight countries in the Middle East during a trip to the region on January 8-15, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan, State Department Deputy Spokesperson Robert Palladino said on Friday.

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 04th January, 2019) US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo is planing to visit eight countries in the middle East during a trip to the region on January 8-15, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan, State Department Deputy Spokesperson Robert Palladino said on Friday.

"Pompeo will travel to Amman, Jordan; Cairo, Egypt; Manama, Bahrain; Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Doha, Qatar; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Muscat, Oman; and Kuwait City, Kuwait January 8-15," Palladino said in a statement.
