Poroshenko Submits Documents For Registration As Presidential Candidate - Spokesman

KIEV (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 03rd February, 2019) Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko submitted documents to the Central Election Commission (CEC) for registration as a candidate for Ukrainian presidency in the upcoming election, presidential spokesman Svyatoslav Tsegolko said on Sunday.
"On this festive day, Petro Poroshenko filed documents with the CEC for registration as a presidential candidate," Tsegolko wrote on Facebook.
On Tuesday, Poroshenko announced his intention to run for a second term in the upcoming election, which is scheduled for March 31, 2019.
