Russian President Vladimir Putin described his trip to Austria for the wedding of Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl and financier Wolfgang Meilinger as "good, very warm-hearted," noting that it was a private visit.

Earlier in the day, Putin attended the wedding of Knyazl and Mailinger.

The Russian leader presented the newlyweds a rural-themed painting, an antique oil press and Tula samovar. He also gave a toast in German and danced with the bride. According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Putin spent about an hour at the event.

"It was a good trip, very warm-hearted. It was a private visit," Putin told journalists before the talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, in response to relevant question.
