Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan are expected to discuss Syria, economy-related issues and preparations for the next High-Level Russian-Turkish Cooperation Council meeting during talks in Istanbul on October 27, a Turkish diplomatic source told Sputnik on Tuesday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 23rd October, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan are expected to discuss Syria, economy-related issues and preparations for the next High-Level Russian-Turkish Cooperation Council meeting during talks in Istanbul on October 27, a Turkish diplomatic source told Sputnik on Tuesday.

"Same agenda as before.

There are economic items, Syria of course, culture, and the preparation for the next High-Level Cooperation Council. Usual things which are of importance for us," the source said.

Earlier in the day, Andrey Buravov, the deputy director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Fourth European Department, said that Putin and Erdogan were expected to have a separate bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the summit on Syria in Istanbul on Saturday.
