Putin Meets President Of World Jewish Congress Ronald Lauder - Kremlin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has met World Jewish Congress President Ronald Lauder, a statement from the Kremlin said on Tuesday
The meeting was also attended by President's aide Yury Ushakov, Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar and President of the Federation of Jewish Communities Alexander Boroda.
The World Jewish Congress represents Jewish community in over 100 countries worldwide. Founded in Geneva, Switzerland, back in 1936, the group says that it acts as "the 'Diplomatic Arm of the Jewish People." In particular, it advocates for justice for the victims of Holocaust, campaigns for the right of Soviet Jews to emigrate to Israel and counters anti-Semitism.
