Putin, Modi Have Brief Talk On Sidelines Of ASEAN Meetings In Singapore

SINGAPORE (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 14th November, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a brief on-the-go talk on Wednesday at a reception in Singapore, which is currently hosting the 33rd ASEAN Summit and Related Meetings.
Leaving the official reception, Modi saw Putin and approached him.
The Russian president greeted his counterpart with a smile. They hugged, shook hands and exchanged a couple of words.
Along with the ASEAN Summit and Related Meetings, Singapore is hosting this week the 13th East Asia Summit (EAS). The EAS is the annual regional forum of the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations, as well as Australia, China, India, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, South Korea, and the United States.
