Putin To Take Part In St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum Gala Opening On Friday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 16th November, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to take part in the gala opening of the 7th St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum (ICF) in the Mariinsky Theatre on Friday.

The program of the gala concert is expected to include musical masterpieces performed by world renowned musicians and the talented youth.

The ICF opened on Thursday with an official ceremony at the General Staff Building of the State Hermitage Museum and will last through Saturday.

The ICF is organized by the Russian government, the Culture Ministry, and the government of St. Petersburg. The forum has been recognized as a global event, annually attracting thousands of professionals and lovers of arts, particularly theater, opera and ballet stars; renowned directors and musicians; public figures; as well as representatives of governments, and business and academic communities.
