Qatar Signs Agreement To Open Counterterrorism Center To Help Victims Of Terror

DOHA (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 16th December, 2018) Qatar, with the participation of the UN, will open a center for combating terrorism, which will also help the victims of terror, a Sputnik correspondent reported from the ceremony of signing relevant agreements on the sidelines of the Doha Forum.
According to the agreement, Qatar will allocate $5 million for the opening of the counterterrorism center and $15 million annually to support its activities over the next five years.
The Doha Forum with the participation of high-ranking representatives of the UN and other international organizations, as well as governments of different countries, began in the capital of Qatar on Saturday and will conclude later on Sunday.
