DOHA (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 16th December, 2018) Doha intends to invest $20 billion in US energy projects over the next five years, Qatari Energy Minister Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi said on Sunday.
"We think that the US has a huge potential, and production is going forward for a very long time, and therefore we are looking to invest there.
We reckon that some $20 billion will be invested in the next five years in the US in different projects we are working on, in different areas - in conventional and non-conventional," Al-Kaabi, who is also the president and CEO of Qatar Petroleum (QP), said at the Doha Forum.
