Rally Participants In Kiev Demand Naftogaz CEO Resignation Over Heating Crisis - Reports

Ukrainians, left without heating in very cold temperatures, attended on Wednesday a rally outside the Naftogaz national oil and gas company in Kiev demanding the resignation of its CEO Andriy Kobolyev, local media reported on Wednesday.
Kryvyi Rih in Ukraine's central Dnipropetrovsk region and Smila city in Cherkasy region were left without heating because of municipalities' debt to Naftogaz. Southern city of Kherson was also affected. Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said earlier on Wednesday that heating had been restored in all cities, except Smila.
"We are here today because we are being robbed, disrespected, and left to freeze ... There is no heating in the city I come from, people are freezing and still getting utility bills," a rally participant from Smila said, as quoted by the UNN news agency.
The protesters, demanding the resignation of Kobolyev over ineffective management, dispersed after being told that the Naftogaz CEO was not at the office.
