Russian state arms exporter Rosoboronexport will take part in the Moscow Conference on International Security (MCIS-2019), where it will showcase a unique face-recognition system, the company said in a press release on Tuesday
"As part of the conference, Rosoboronexport organizes an exhibit with the newest specimen of export-oriented military products and state-of-the-art solutions in the area of security ... The NtechLab ... demonstrates at Rosoboronexport's exhibit a unique solution, based on the FindFace face-recognition systems and oriented for the use by armed forces, special operations units and law-enforcement agencies," Rosoboronexport said in a statement.
Rosoboronexport added that forum attendants would also have a chance to see the latest series of Kalashnikov assault rifles and grenade launchers from weapons manufacturer Bazalt.
"We plan to discuss the current and future joint projects in the field of military-technical cooperation, to hear our partners' opinions on security challenges in regional and global dimensions and finally update our marketing plans," Rosoboronexport Director General Alexander Mikheev said.
MCIS-2019, organized by the Russian Defense Ministry, is due to be held in Moscow between April 23 and April 25. The participants are expected to discuss the situation in the middle East, including Syria, as well as regional security in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
