Rouhani Says Any Talks With US Should Occur Within Framework, Continuation Of JCPOA

Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said on Tuesday that any future talks with the United States should be based on the framework of the international nuclear accord with Iran, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Pal of Action (JCPOA).

"Any talks should be within the framework and in continuation of JCPOA and [UN] Security Council Resolution 2231 and not in the framework of breaching them," Rouhani said at the UN General Assembly in New York.
