Russia Alarmed By Relocation Of IS Terrorists To Iraq, Afghanistan With US Support -Lavrov

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th October, 2018) Moscow is seriously concerned with intelligence reports on US assistance in the relocation of terrorists from the Islamic State organization (IS, banned in Russia)� to Iraq and Afghanistan, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.
"We are receiving more and more often the factual data indicating that the Americans are transporting IS terrorists to Iraq and Afghanistan. These are alarming facts. We have asked the relevant international structures and Americans [about this]," Lavrov said in an interview with RT France, Paris Match and Le Figaro.
Lavrov added that the IS terrorists are settling in northern Afghanistan close to borders with Russia's allies and partners.
"This is a very serous matter. We will demand complete clarity on this issue," the minister stressed.
