Russia, China, US Agree To Bring More Parties To Afghan Settlement Consultations -Document

Russia, China and the United States have agreed at the trilateral consultations on the Afghan settlement in Moscow to bring more participants to the next round of talks, which will take place in Beijing, according to the document published by the Russian Foreign Ministry
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 26th April, 2019) Russia, China and the United States have agreed at the trilateral consultations on the Afghan settlement in Moscow to bring more participants to the next round of talks, which will take place in Beijing, according to the document published by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"The three parties have agreed to extend the number of participants in the consultations by the next trilateral meeting in Beijing...
The date and composition of the meeting will be negotiated through diplomatic channels," the ministry said.
The three states have also urged the Taliban to participate in peace talks with the Afghan delegation, including Kabul's representatives, and called on all relevant parties to agree on immediate steps to stop hostilities.
Also, the parties called for "orderly and responsible" withdrawal of foreign troops from Afghanistan as part of the peace efforts.
