Russia has received an invitation from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) to send observers to the upcoming presidential election in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Friday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th January, 2019) Russia has received an invitation from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) to send observers to the upcoming presidential election in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Friday.

"I can say that we have received an invitation from the OSCE to send our observers to the mission that will monitor the elections [in Ukraine], so we have an invitation," Lavrov said at a press conference after talks with his German counterpart Heiko Maas.
