Russia Increased Year-on-Year Gold Production By 1.5% In January-October - Statistics

Russia boosted raw, semi-manufactured and powdered gold production by 1.5 percent in January-October compared with the same period of the previous year, the Russian Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said on Friday.
According to Rosstat, gold production in October increased by 10.
7 percent year-on-year and declined by 4.5 percent compared with the September level.
Rosstat does not provide absolute figures regarding mining and production of precious metals and stones.
According to the data published by the Russian Finance Ministry earlier this year, gold production in January-October 2017 was officially recorded at 261.18 tonnes.
