LANGKAWI (Malaysia) (UrduPoint news / Sputnik - 25th March, 2019) Moscow and Jakarta are working on the implementation of the contract for deliveries of 11 Su-35 fighter jets to Indonesia, vice president of United Aircraft Corporation, Ilya Tarasenko, told Sputnik in an interview ahead of the arms exhibition LIMA-2019.

Last year, Russia and Indonesia signed a contract for the delivery of 11 Su-35s worth $1.1 billion.

"We value our cooperation with Indonesia and are working on the implementation of the contract. It provides for a number of provisions related to offset obligations and countertrade issues," Tarasenko said.

The solution of these issues at all levels takes time, and as soon as they are worked out, it will be possible to talk about specific deadlines for its implementation, he added.

LIMA-2019 exhibition will start on Tuesday in Malaysia's Langkawi and will end on March 30.
