Russia is interested in the success of the US-North Korea summit in Hanoi, a Russian Foreign Ministry source told Sputnik on Monday
"We are interested in the success of the summit, we wish success to both American and North Korean partners.
On our part, our knowledge and expertise are also in demand among Americans," the source said after a meeting between US Special Envoy for North Korea Mark Lambert and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov.
Lambert is on a visit to Moscow on February 11-12. The US Embassy earlier said he paid a visit to Moscow for consultations on the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
During the consultations, the US side informed Russia "about the preparations for the summit in Hanoi."
The source said the cooperation with the United States on North Korea's denuclearization was strengthening.
