Russian officials and US National Security Adviser John Bolton may discuss in Moscow the possible future meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump, a Russian source told Sputnik on Monday.

On Monday, Bolton starts his two-day visit to Russia.

"Yes, they may," the source said answering the question whether the the Russian officials and Bolton may discuss the possible future meeting between Putin and Trump.

Speaking about the possible date and place of the meeting, the source noted that "all the options are possible."

"That [the meeting] may take place in Paris [on November 11] and in Buenos Aires on the sidelines of the G20 Summit [on November 30 - December 1]," the source added.
