Russia Recorded 5 Ceasefire Violations In Syria Over Past 24 Hours - Defense Ministry

The Russian side of the Russian-Turkish commission monitoring the implementation of the Syrian ceasefire has recorded five truce breaches over the past 24 hours, while the Turkish side has registered 16 violations, according to figures provided on Monday by the Russian military
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 11th February, 2019) The Russian side of the Russian-Turkish commission monitoring the implementation of the Syrian ceasefire has recorded five truce breaches over the past 24 hours, while the Turkish side has registered 16 violations, according to figures provided on Monday by the Russian military.
"Over the last 24 hours, the Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered 5 cases of firing in the provinces of Idlib (1) and Latakia (4). The Turkish side has registered 16 cases of ceasefire violations in the provinces of Hama (5), Idlib (2), Aleppo (2), Latakia (7)," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a daily bulletin.
The ministry's Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides and Refugee Migration Monitoring said it had conducted one humanitarian operation over the same period in the town of Habbariyah in Daraa province, distributing over 2 tonnes of food supplies.
Russia, Turkey and Iran are the guarantors of the ceasefire regime in Syria, while Moscow has also been supporting the government forces' fight against terrorist groups and providing humanitarian aid to civilians.
