Russia Registers 11 Ceasefire Breaches In Syria Over Past 24 Hours - Reconciliation Center

The Russian side of the Russian-Turkish commission monitoring the implementation of the Syrian ceasefire has registered 11 ceasefire violations in the country over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry's Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides and Refugee Migration Monitoring said on Tuesday
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd January, 2019) The Russian side of the Russian-Turkish commission monitoring the implementation of the Syrian ceasefire has registered 11 ceasefire violations in the country over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry's Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides and Refugee Migration Monitoring said on Tuesday.
"Over the last 24 hours, the Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered 11 cases of firing in the provinces of Idlib (2), Aleppo (4), Hama (2), Latakia (3) ... The Turkish side has registered 23 cases of ceasefire violations in the provinces of Aleppo (2), Hama (5), Latakia (2) and Idlib (14)," the center said in a daily bulletin.
The Russian center has also provided over 2 tonnes of food to the residents of the southwestern province of Daraa, according to the bulletin.
Since 2017, Russia has been one of the three guarantors of the ceasefire in Syria. The Russian armed forces have been providing military assistance to Damascus throughout the conflict, while also carrying out regular humanitarian operations across the country. Moscow is now assisting Damascus in the post-war reconstruction and the return of refugees.
