Russia Registers 11 Truce Violations In Syria Over Past 24 Hours - Defense Ministry

The Russian side of the Russian-Turkish commission monitoring the implementation of the Syrian ceasefire has registered a total of 11 truce breaches in Syria over the past 24 hours, while Turkey registered one violation, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd September, 2018) The Russian side of the Russian-Turkish commission monitoring the implementation of the Syrian ceasefire has registered a total of 11 truce breaches in Syria over the past 24 hours, while Turkey registered one violation, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
"Over the last 24 hours, the Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered 11 cases of firing in the provinces of Aleppo (6) and Latakia (5). The Turkish side has registered one case of ceasefire violation in Idlib province," the ministry said in its daily bulletin.
According to the bulletin, no new humanitarian operations have been carried by the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides over the period.
Russia and Turkey along with Iran are acting as guarantors of the ceasefire regime in Syria, which is provided for by the 2017 agreements.
