Russia Registers 16 Ceasefire Breaches In Syria Over Past 24 Hours - Defense Ministry

The Russian side of the Russian-Turkish commission monitoring the implementation of the Syrian ceasefire has registered 16 truce breaches, while the Turkish side has not registered any ceasefire violations over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th September, 2018) The Russian side of the Russian-Turkish commission monitoring the implementation of the Syrian ceasefire has registered 16 truce breaches, while the Turkish side has not registered any ceasefire violations over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.
"Over the last 24 hours, the Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered 16 cases of firing in the provinces of Aleppo (6), Hama (1) and Latakia (9). The Turkish side has registered no cases of ceasefire violation," the ministry's center for Syrian reconciliation said in its daily bulletin.
The center has held one humanitarian operation in the settlement of Haklayah, Aleppo province, over the last 24 hours, delivering 1.95 tonnes of humanitarian cargo to local residents, the bulletin added.
Russia, Turkey and Iran are the guarantors of the ceasefire regime in Syria, while Moscow has also been supporting the government forces' fight against terrorist groups, threatening the security situation in Syria, and providing humanitarian aid to civilians.
