Russia Registers 8 Ceasefire Breaches In Syria Over Past 24 Hours - Defense Ministry

The Russian side of the Russian-Turkish commission monitoring the implementation of the Syrian ceasefire registered eight truce breaches over the last 24 hours, while Turkey recorded 12 violations, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 11th December, 2018) The Russian side of the Russian-Turkish commission monitoring the implementation of the Syrian ceasefire registered eight truce breaches over the last 24 hours, while Turkey recorded 12 violations, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
"Over the last 24 hours, the Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered eight cases of firing in the provinces of Aleppo (3), Hama (1), Latakia (2) and Idlib (2). The Turkish side has registered 12 cases of ceasefire violations in the provinces of Aleppo (7), Hama (4), and Idlib (1)," the ministry's Center for Syrian Reconciliation said in a daily bulletin.
Moreover, the center held a humanitarian operation in the Khirdjilla settlement in the province of Damascus over the past 24 hours, according to the bulletin.
Syria has been in a state of civil war since 2011, with the government forces fighting against numerous opposition groups and terrorist organizations. Russia along with Turkey and Iran are guarantors of the ceasefire regime in Syria.
