Russia, Turkey To Hold Talks On Syrian Issues In Coming Days - Lavrov

Russia and Turkey, which act as guarantors of the ceasefire regime in Syria, will hold talks on the settlement of the Syrian conflict in the coming days, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday.

"As the guarantor states in the Astana process [on Syria], we are working with both Turkey and Iran practically on a daily basis, including telephone conversations and personal meetings, and we plan to have talks with our Turkish colleagues in the coming days," Lavrov said after a meeting with Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil in Moscow.
