Russia Wanted to Help Israel Find Soldiers' Remains in Syria Before IL-20 Crash - Moscow

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 23rd September, 2018) Russia was prepared to assist Israel in locating the remains of the Israeli soldiers in Syria before the crash of Russia's IL-20 military jet on September 17, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen.

Igor Konashenkov said on Sunday.

"Russia was ready to carry on with the operation. In view of the above, the hostile actions committed by the Israeli Air Force against the Russian Ilyushin Il-20 aircraft cross the line of civilized relations," Konashenkov said at a media briefing.
