BRUSSELS (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 16th January, 2019) Russia will have six month after the suspension by the US of its obligations under the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty to prove compliance with the bilateral pact, US Ambassador to NATO Kay Bailey Hutchison said Wednesday.
Speaking at a news conference in Brussels, Hutchison confirmed that Washington will completely withdraw from the INF Treaty after a six-months transition period starting on February 2, and urged Moscow to provide convincing evidence of compliance with the INF during this period to save the 1987 pact.
