Russian, Austrian Foreign Ministers Ink Statement On Establishing Sochi Dialogue Forum

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Austrian counterpart Karin Kneissl signed on Tuesday a statement stipulating the establishment of the Russian-Austrian Sochi Dialogue public forum

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 12th March, 2019) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Austrian counterpart Karin Kneissl signed on Tuesday a statement stipulating the establishment of the Russian-Austrian Sochi Dialogue public forum.

The signing ceremony took place at the Russian Foreign Ministry's Reception House in Moscow.

Earlier in the day, Kneissl said that the new format would focus on economic and cultural cooperation, as well as collaboration between civic organizations.

In late October, Russian Ambassador to Austria Dmitry Lyubinskiy told Sputnik that the first meeting of the forum would take place in Sochi in 2019.
