Moscow, Dec 1 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Dec, 2018 ) :It was a question of degrees as a wintry Saturday forced one cancelation in the Russian Premier League on Saturday but two other games were played.
With the thermometer dropping to -17 degrees Celsius in Orenburg, a city on the Ural River, the boundary between Europe and Asia, and close to the border with Kazakhstan, the match against visiting Samara was cancelled.
Some 2,800 kilometres east across Siberia in Krasnoyarsk, the temperature at kick off was just above the -15 degree league limit.
Host Yenisei had to play visiting Grozny, and although Valery Kichin earned them a 1-1 draw, before a reported crowd of 1,800, they remain stuck in last place, a chilly four points adrift.
