Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov will pay an official visit to Sudan on Friday and hold talks with the leadership of the African country

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 15th March, 2019) Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov will pay an official visit to Sudan on Friday and hold talks with the leadership of the African country.

Bogdanov will meet with Sudanese Foreign Minister Eldirdiri Mohamed Ahmed to discuss bilateral ties, domestic situation in Sudan as well as middle Eastern and African region issues.

Moreover, the Russian deputy foreign minister, who also serves as the special presidential representative for the Middle East and Africa, will hand over a letter from Russian President Vladimir Putin to Sudanese President of Sudan Omar al-Bashir on the development of bilateral relations between the countries.

Bogdanov initially was supposed to visit Sudan earlier in the week, but his trip was postponed and then rescheduled to Friday.
