Russian Embassy Extends Condolences To Families Of Victims Of California Wildfires

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th November, 2018) The Russian Embassy to the United States expressed condolences on Sunday to the families of victims of ravaging wildfires in the US state of California as the death toll had increased to 76.
Earlier in the day, Butte county Sheriff Kory Honea said that the remains of five more people killed in California's wildfires were recovered,� which brings the death toll from the blaze to 76. At the same time, the number of people missing has also increased to 1276.
"We extend our most sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the people of #California regarding the huge amount of damage and dozens of human casualties caused by destructive forest fires #californiawildfires," the Embassy wrote on Twitter.
California has been struggling with several huge fires, which have already destroyed over 8,000 structures, since last week. One of the blazes, the so-called Camp Fire, has already been dubbed by many as the most destructive fire in the state's history.
