Russian Embassy Says Sent Over 70 Diplomatic Notes To UK Authorities Over Skripal Affair

The Russian Embassy in London said on Tuesday that since the incident with Russian ex-spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter, who were poisoned in Salisbury in early March, it had sent more than 70 diplomatic notes and letters to the UK authorities with the aim to uncover the fate of the Skripals.
"Over the past months, the embassy has sent more than 70 [diplomatic] notes and letters to the UK Foreign Ministry, Interior Ministry and police, and has also regularly raised the matter in personal contacts with Foreign Office officials. We have asked dozens of questions related to the current location of the [poisoning] victims, poisoning symptoms, their treatment, police investigation .
.. Almost all questions and proposals have been ignored," the embassy said in a statement.
The embassy stressed that London's behavior was "contrary to the rules [that define] civilized relations between the states" as well as "a gross violation of norms of diplomatic courtesy."
The Skripals were found unconscious on a bench at a shopping center in Salisbury. The United Kingdom has accused Moscow of orchestrating the attack with what UK experts claimed was the A234 nerve agent. Moscow has refuted the allegations and repeatedly pointed to the lack of evidence provided by London.
