Russian Lawmaker Kosachev To Meet With UN Political Chief On Wed - Federation Council

Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs Konstantin Kosachev will meet with UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Rosemary Anne DiCarlo on Wednesday, the press service of the Russian parliament's upper chamber said on Tuesday.

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 13th November, 2018) Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs Konstantin Kosachev will meet with UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Rosemary Anne DiCarlo on Wednesday, the press service of the Russian parliament's upper chamber said on Tuesday.

The meeting will take place in Moscow. No information about the agenda has been provided so far.

On March 28, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres appointed former US diplomat Rosemary DiCarlo as UN under-secretary-general for political affairs. She has more than 35 years of experience in public service and academia. During her carrier, she served as deputy permanent representative to the United Nations and also as deputy assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. She has also served in the US embassies in Moscow and Oslo.
