Russian Military Records Ceasefire Breaches In 7 Areas Of Syria's Idlib De-Escalation Zone

The Russian Center for Syrian Reconciliation has registered ceasefire violations in seven locations in Syria's Idlib de-escalation zone over the past 24 hours, head of the center Lt. Gen. Vladimir Savchenko said on Monday.

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 25th September, 2018) The Russian Center for Syrian Reconciliation has registered ceasefire violations in seven locations in Syria's Idlib de-escalation zone over the past 24 hours, head of the center Lt. Gen. Vladimir Savchenko said on Monday.

"Shelling of Safsara, Nahshabba, Jubb-al-Mgara, Darh-Abu-Asad, Beyt-Smayra in the province of Latakia, and western outskirts of the city of Aleppo was recorded in the past 24 hours," Savchenko said.

The Reconciliation Center also registered shelling of the settlement of Tadef in Aleppo province from the positions of the Free Syrian Army near the town of Bab, Savchenko added.

Syria has been in a state of civil war since 2011, with the government forces fighting against numerous opposition groups and terrorist organizations.
