Russian Ombudswoman Receives Response From UN, Council Of Europe Over Vyshinsky Arrest

Russian ombudswoman Tatiana Moskalkova told Sputnik Wednesday that she had received responses from the United Nations and the Council of Europe on the arrest of RIA Novosti Ukraine web portal chief Kirill Vyshinsky stating that the organizations were concerned over the situation and ready to pose questions to the Ukrainian authorities
TASHKENT (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 16th January, 2019) Russian ombudswoman Tatiana Moskalkova told Sputnik Wednesday that she had received responses from the United Nations and the Council of Europe on the arrest of RIA Novosti Ukraine web portal chief Kirill Vyshinsky stating that the organizations were concerned over the situation and ready to pose questions to the Ukrainian authorities.
"Yes, I have received a reply from both the UN and the Council of Europe stating that they are concerned about the situation and are ready to raise questions in a dialogue with the leadership of Ukraine. For us, it is very important. We will continue working on the issue, including asking the Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders to facilitate medical examination of Kirill Vyshinsky," the ombudswoman said.
